Blockland freezes after authentication

I start Blockland and, well, it just freezes after it authenticates. I'm using Linux and running Blockland through WINE, the documentation says it works perfectly on wine (on the WINE HQ website). Any ideas?
I've been able to get past that by d/c my LAN before I start it and then going on in demo mode, but I'm not able to get online. Help?

Well that's no fun at all :/ Especially considering that it won't work on my windows computer do to the fact that I don't have a video card and it keeps on not letting me on because of it. It keeps saying I have to update my drivers and stuff, even though they are about as updated as they can get.

The latest version of Blockland DOES NOT work with WINE because of a missing network function in WINE. However, you can work around it with a simple script. It will not allow you to host LAN or Online servers, but it will at least let you play.
