OS Usage Poll

I just wanted to see what everybody's preference vs. usage was. Using an OS does not mean "my friend has one and I use it as their house sometimes". I've used Windows for several years, as have I MacOS. So I can say I've used both.

I've worked with both MacOS and Windows, and there are so many pros and cons with each that I don't know what to like.

I use windows, but I like Mac better.
But since I play games on a PC I can't exactly go Mac.

My first computer was a Windows 95 machine when I was about seven. I have then progressed though the Windows computing world and after a couple years, my parents got a Mac as well. After the Mac fad, I soon got my own computer and got Windows Vista (in which I have upgraded to Seven), but a bit before, during the Mac fad, I discovered Linux. I soon became obsessed with the OS and the kernel itself, which fueled my wanting to learn the different languages that make up the OS like C and Assembly. I occasionally use Windows, but when I actually need to do something important/pretty much anything, I always use *nix.

I personally like all main stream operating systems, but I would always prefer a Unix environment.

I use a Mac every day in ADV, and I hate it. The only thing worthwhile is Final Cut Pro, the OS is just stupid and the hardware is garbage.
