Try 192.168.0.101
I'm not quite sure that would work, that is not my IPv4 address, but I will try it out.

Means that you need to change the IP on both the router and your computer.

So should I change my Modem to 0.0.0.0 and my Router to 192.168.1.1 which is my Modem but will be the adress to my router?

You have broadband or dial-up?

Broadband. I have a DSL Modem (Westell6100) with a Wireless - N Broadband Linksys Router (WRT160N).

Then, only touch your router to change the routing(portforwarding) of port 28000 to IP 192.168.1.101 on port 28000. Then change the IP on your computer to 192.168.1.101 as well.

But my Router's IP is diffrent from my Computer's IP.

Modem - 192.168.1.1

Router - 192.168.0.1

Wait I think I see your problem here. You need both of them to be on 192.168.1.*. If you cannot setup the modem, then setup the Router to 192.168.1.2 or something like that. Then setup your computer against that too, 192.168.1.100.

Ok, I kept my modem at 192.168.1.1 and went to my router page and changed the IP Address to 192.168.1.2. After I had done that I could no longer connect to the internet and needed to put it back to 192.168.0.1. Did I also need to se my Starting IP Address to 192.168.1.100? It was 192.168.1.1 after I changed my router to 192.168.1.2.

Tom

You need to forward the ports from your modem to your router, and then forward the ports to your computer in the router.

Ok, my Router's IP Address is now 192.168.1.2 and it's Starting IP is 192.168.1.100, my Modem's IP Address is 192.168.1.1 just like McTwist said I should do, and I can connect to the internet now. Should O port forward on both my router and modem or just my router since I am hosting on my laptop which si connected to my router?

No edit.

Anyways, it is fixed, more than one person can join. I had to set my router to PPPoE which is what my Modem is, and had to change my router's Ip Address to 192.168.1.2 and it's starting IP Address to 192.168.1.100 and now it is fixed. Thanks for all your help guys, I am now locking this.
