.....

Or you could turn on the computer, make tea, come back and use your computer and save a few hundred dollars.

Man, you guys are so easy, I don't even have to try.

What I really love is how I'm supposed to be this bigoted fanatic, and you guys are supposed to be the epitome of logic and reason, and yet most of the time I get insults like these.

It's weird how when one side labels itself, it usually follows the opposite of that label.  For example, earlier I saidand now here I am trolling on the Blockland forums.  It's a funny old world, isn't it?

Well don't make a dumb baseless claim about me and I won't make a dumb baseless claim about you.

Well don't make a dumb baseless claim about me and I won't make a dumb baseless claim about you.

I'm just trying to get some feedback on a computer. Take your stuff elsewhere.

Don't bother replying with some "oh he started it" bullstuff - just end it or I'll be deleting your deconstructive posts.

I like this idea.

The thing is, is that I didn't even buy the newest generation of Caviar Black 1TB 7,200 hard drives, and my computer still boots up in the time it took me to write this post.

It helps if you're coming from a piece of crap computer like I did that was awesome 7 years ago but now is so slow you could barely run flash games at 20 fps.

Well don't make a dumb baseless claim about me and I won't make a dumb baseless claim about you.

I think he's mad.  Is he mad?  Is this an appropriate time to say "u mad?" in that really annoying shortpost form?

Cool, Clearly I can't get some advice here without people arguing about pathetic little details. I'll lock this and maybe open it later if I have another question.

Ok so I've decided to check out some custom built options. I'm looking at this site at the moment:

http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/

See if you can make something cool that comes out under £1700. Other site I saw was http://www.arbico.co.uk/

I just don't want anything that requires me to manually assemble stuff, so prebuilt things only please.

Are you sure you want to trust other people with your build?

It might not come out to your liking.

It might not come out to your liking.

It's not like I'm just going to blindly purchase whatever the first person suggests ...

Just keep it similar to what I originally had. Intel processor/ATI HD5870/Lots of ram.

So I managed to get this quote which has basically everything I need - how does it look?

You can shave a few bucks off if they offer an i7 920.

They don't. The main thing I'm worried about is motherboard/power/cooling/fans because I have no idea about any of those.
