Author Topic: Dust Clogging  (Read 687 times)

I have a Dell E310, and I was wondering if there was a way to get the front part of it clean, the open part in the, front as you can see in the picture. Mine is full of dust. I don't want to mess up my system doing it.

Get an air can, then spray it.

When I was taking apart Bisjac's computer to try and make it work, I found a lot of dust in that area. Almost enough hair to make a new cat specifically. lol But I was able to remove the front panel by the inside of the case. You might need pliers to pinch the securing parts to allow them to slide out easier.

lol. That was easy.

wut

Front panels usually do come off of cases. There might be either screws or clips underneath the side panel you can undo to take the front off. There should be thumb screw at the back to get the side panel off.

I don't need to do that, there's a hole on the other side...if I did that, I would assume you wanted me to blow the dust in through the holes.

Well if you had the entire front panel off, you could clean all the dust off from the inside, instead of blowing back in.

I'll just let my dad handle it, dis hard. D: lol

It really isn't difficult.

Just take the cover off and blow it out with a can of air.

Make sure you spray down the insides with water real good before using the air can.
