Can someone explain how good the community is here?

So-so. It depends on how you act.

Spread the Love, and you'll be happy. <3

Welcome! :D

Pretty much a blender with rocks in it.

The community is good, depending on how you act.

If you're sensible, reasonably interesting and/or funny, you'll do fine.
And if you're none of that, you won't recieve any angst if you just watch from the sidelines, so to say. :P

However, if you start acting stupid, spamming, breaking Forum rules or leaving yourself open to attack, you're likely to recieve some negative feedback from members of the community.

I suggest you check out different sections of the Forums. They tend to have different ways of acting. You'll quite likely find friendliness in most Help sections of the Forums, or the Modification Discussion topics, or just go to any topic that *Magick* Mage is in. :P
If you're not looking for the cruelty in community, stay away from the Drama section in the Off-Topic Forum for a little bit.

Also, if you post a 'Hi, I'm new' thing on the Forums, the regulars may or may not flame depending on your later acts. Plus they sometimes don't take too kindly to a topic posted in the wrong section so I suggest you read other topics, mainly all of the ones on the first page, to know what kind of stuff to post there. The people that regularly help people out in the Help Section are quite friendly with helping out unless its a thing like 'Hao to chat' sort of thing. Oh and one more thing no emote spam. The regulars don't like emote spam...

I suggest you stay away from Kalphiter. He can get a bit rough.

Don't make a "Hi, I'm new" topic and you'll be fine.

... Oh, wait.

Usually unforgiving, often go to threads just to flame.
I posted a thread to remember an old game, two people just kept spamming and flaming me. All I asked for is to remember a game that was good at the time, and how I lost some friends there.  :panda:

Test it out! If you don't like it, you don't have to stay, and if you love it, you can just keep coming back.
