Author Topic: Going to see if Blockland + Linux = Good friends.  (Read 921 times)

I'll post everything that happens, maybe even a few screenshots.

INSTALLATION: SUCCESS.

GAMEPLAY: FAILURE?

It freezes upon some error. I'll run it without RTB and see how it goes.

[1 1/2 minutes later...]
Nope, still freezes.
Maybe without add-ons? :\

[3 minutes later]
Aww man. It worked for 5 seconds, and then froze. D:

Oh well.

EXPERIMENT FAILED.

Download and install this script:
http://www.mediafire.com/?2mmdzjimzwj

It will allow you to join servers, but it will not let you host a multilayer game.
I am unsure if RTB works.

RTB does worl. The VCE client crashes me when I used ubuntu wine.

Also lol @ multilayer.

Yeah, it was hilarious mr. Worl.

Same for you "mr."
I'll try the script and see how it goes.

It's doing the same thing.

There wasn't anything else I had to do, right?

All that needs to happen for it to work is for Blockland to disconnect from a remote server before the remote server disconnects. If the remote server disconnects first, WINE crashes.
For hosting, there's an issue considering that you can't package any of the authentication functions.
