Author Topic: The Strangers  (Read 761 times)

Have any of you seen this movie? I heard it was going to be pant-stufftingly horrific, but it really actually wasn't that bad. 4/5 of the movie was people in masks standing behind the main characters at random points when you least expect it. Very little of the movie is actually scary on its own without all the previous suspense, but damn I'm still shaking after just now watching it.

I did have higher expectations though, it was recommended to me by a friend who doesn't get scared at hardly anything (I think he laughed during The Ring) and he said he had to stop it half way through because he was so scared.

Interesting. Did these strangers like to stand on the hills that had eyes?

Saw the commercials, almost saw it, heard it sucks, didn't see it.

Meh, most horror films don't score that high.

And the ones that do aren't usually very scary.

Watching a horror movie is kind of like watching a researcho: You don't see either one for the character development or storytelling.

Unless it's a good researcho.
