Author Topic: why can't i host after i crash?  (Read 1106 times)

for some reason, when i'm hosting, i crash (so far once a day), and then i can't host internet servers people can connect to for the rest of the day, it happened yesterday, and today too, and on wednesday i think

Used to happen to me, I think it is becuase of UPnP, forward your ports and disable UPnP on your Router/Modem page.

can't forward ports :D

What do you mean by crash? Does the game break, or does your server drop everyone leaving you alone?

crash as in blockland closes

Sounds like the easiest thing to do would be to stop it from crashing. Next time it happens, don't restart Blockland, and instead just grab your console log and post it here.

will do, it should happen again today if it follows pattern

hmm, i just closed the server to update some things, and now my friend can't join, and he was in it before i closed it...

wait a second, do you think it's hub, i heard it had trouble with JVS or something on restarting server, lemme remove that from addons for a sec...

It would seem that when the server closes, something is/isn't happening that shouldn't/should. Try resetting your router and try to host again.

taking out client_hub worked

oh, just crashed too, for if the problem persists

It kept it from crashing or it let you host? Also, console log.

Also, console log.
Disregard that. Didn't see attachment from the recent posts box. Were you doing anything specific when it crashed?
