3: You CAN maybe download an anti-virus agenst this, but if it dosen't work, then i sorry but you are DOOMED.

You better GET BACK-UP FLIES OF ALL YOUR STUFF ON DISC OR THUMBSTICKS BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!

If you somehow counter ANY of these reasons, you CAN save your computer, but you should probably get back-up flies of you r files on to a type of storage not in your computer, first.

I've seen fake security alerts attempting to put Trojans on people's computers.

Me too.
Once My"Thinks He's Computer Smart" 27 Year Old Cousin Fell for one and It was a Fake saying "Scanning..Your Computer is at Risk! Download this to remove Viruses!" And it was one Big Trojan.

Mayhaps it's not a virus, maybe he just has no security so Windows downloads a security thing in automatic updates?
