Author Topic: Ping "---"  (Read 788 times)

Why is it like that?
My friends tell me "It takes me 2 minutes to join all it says is sending request BLAH BLAH"
How do I fix that for more people can come?

Back-up question:How do I get rid of invaild packet any tips?  :cookieMonster:

I have that same problem. The ping is always "---" for me. Apparently, punch packets are unstable and don't really work well.

I followed the tutorial, but it still doesn't work. I think it has something to do with either UPnP being enabled or port forwarding being enabled/disabled.

It all started in v14.

The ping thing has to do with the UPnP in your router.  Try enabling it if it's disabled.  The invalid packet is usually caused by an addon.

This is sorted, for now. :D

Go into Internet Explorer.

Type this, into address bar: 192.168.1.1

User name: Admin

Password: Admin (if admin doesn't work, use password)

OK, to look for UPnP, it would be in "Advanced".

Click, or Look under. (for, NTGEAR is different, advanced isn't clickable, It's just under advanced)

OK, UPnP, SHOULD be there.

If it is, Click it.

And simply Click "Enable". Theres something else. Theres an option, to randomize ports. DON'T USE THAT ONE.

I've sorted it. He couldn't find the password to get onto the admin page.
