Well i have recently switched to ubuntu because i find it more interesting and faster than xp/vista + I'm to poor to go buy windows 7. I really think they should have Blockland for Linux Ubuntu for all those linux users...Badspot your gonna start losing players if more people see the greatness of Linux Ubuntu....

Ubuntu blows. Arch Linux is the way to go, hehehe.

Anyways, this has been asked many times. Consequentially, you can just run Blockland through Wine, and use a fix that someone posted (though I believe that some aspects of RTB are broken, at least you can still play). Though it would be nice for Blockland to be native on *nix.

I like Ubuntu because of the customization i will admit it has downfalls but i love it and its ma favorite so far.... Specially using Compriz the 3d Desktop anyway i will have to figure out this thing because it crashes on start up using wine

Ubuntu is way too bloated imo. With Arch, you don't have anything that you don't want. The package manager is 10000 times better than Debian/Ubuntu's too.

I really think they should have Blockland for Mac for all those Mac users...Badspot your gonna start losing players if more people see the greatness of Mac....

You're almost asking for it to happen :P

Anyways, ubuntu holds a very small market share, I doubt badspot will lose many players to it. Besides, Trader was able to get Blockland running faster in Ubuntu with wine, then it ran in windows. So as long as you have a supported graphics card (no good drivers for my integrated chipset), you'll be fine.

I imagine it would be too much work to make Blockland for four operating systems.

just use Wine?

blockland's already got a bunch of unix-based os users.
