mersenne primes.
Wait, isn't that just any number one less than a power of two that is also prime?

I don't see how that could be as computer intensive as protein folding.

He refuses to join my folding team. :U
I'll join your team.

If you come to my Bible study  :cookieMonster:

Seriously though, when I get my new computer put together I'd like to try it.

I barely know anything about computer specs, but that is loving lovey.

It's too bad that alot of the main computing components will be outdated in under 3 years.

That's why I never spend more than $1000 at a time.

IMO it would be a good idea to buy a bitchin mobo, case, and PSU and then swap out GPUs and the processor every year and a half, RAM every year, and HDD/SSD as you fill up your current one.

I'll probably fold on Rex's team for a while.  I should be upgrading to an i7-980x in a matter of months, but only if I don't have to pay full price.

Buying a very, very, expensive motherboard is not a very good idea. Seeing as something like 2 new sockets are released each year and RAM is upgraded every few years.

I'll have to join your team when I finally get my damn motherboard (fu DOA).

I'll have to join the upper class of specs when I get my next fat paycheck.

I plan on upping my computer before I go to college. I don't know why, I just don't care what mine looks like, as long as it runs my stuff any computers look doesn't matter.

Very nice though. I like the green stuffs, and that helix thing.

That's why I didn't get one of those fancy-schmancy ROG endorsed mobos.

Shut up cigarettes, it's not a low budget build.
