Author Topic: Amade: It's your fault that your stuff gets stolen  (Read 28267 times)

I never see you in-game, and you are the one who is instigating.  The only time I ever did anything to instigate you was send you a text richard over IRC.  Yet still, that was way after you were an starfish to me.  And no, you can't justify being a rude ass with no provocation.  Until you can admit you were rude without reason, I will still look down on you.  Quit being rude to people just because you had a bad day, grow up Amade.

Why don't you acknowledge the offer in your next post the reason why you released it to the public so I don't have to keep repeating it?

You're still a loving ass for not providing a valid reason for it being released in the public. You loving starfish will never give a valid reason since it is intentional trolling.

ahahahahahaha did you even read the topic
Also that picture of ARC's about not having anything better to say than omg troll.
By the way I know you like to think there's some sort of mass richard-sucking operation going on but Spock and I are friends, as are literally all of the Craftsmen members. I'm not sure what this massive, baseless hatred of all of the Craftsmen you have going on is or what you're trying to achieve by bringing it up at every possible opportunity. My despise of you is an obvious result of your constant instigation ingame, over the IRC, and on the forums. I really do hope you've realized that and you're not actually confused why I don't like you. And most people won't: there's a reason you have so many drama topics about you.
If I'm such a huge troll and terrible admin why don't you provide examples?
By the way, this may be hard for you to comprehend, but Spock and I are friends.
I don't know why you're suddenly acting like I'm a complete starfish, I barely even know who you are.
I'm not trolling you. If I wanted to piss you off I'd've made an add-on topic / put it on RTB. And I don't know why you haven't seen my offer yet but it still stands: if you do release the turret I will take my file off of mediafire. Why don't you acknowledge the offer in your next post so I don't have to keep repeating it?
You had a habit of acting incredibly immature on craftsmen and your own servers.

Examples:

When I was still interested in joining Craftsmen, I tried getting some info about it from you, but you wouldn't quit acting stupid. When I tried to tell you what I would app with, you called them crap and low quality, when honestly they were well suitable for an eventing application.

He is proven richardhead, no doubt about it. :cookieMonster:

I can't speak for anyone else at RTB but I would have failed the addon.

He shouldn't have to, he made the work not you. You need to agree to his terms if you want to use his work.

As for your argument on copyright, try looking it up

http://www.copyright.gov/help/faq/faq-general.html#mywork

The best part is that he can register it and then sue you for retroactive infringement provided he does it quick enough. Not that he would of course, litigation is very expensive. Personally I would just settle for telling everyone on the forums how much of a douche you are.

All content made for Blockland is owned by Badspot, end of story.

He didn't release it to the public. It was on his mediafire without a password so he could share it with people who needed a turret when there are no others made before.

Wrong on practically every level. First of all what you are suggesting probably wouldn't even legal, second it would only apply to mods that were released to the public at large, third it wasn't ever "badspot owns your content," it was "badspot has permission to redistribute and repackage your content with blockland," fourth I don't think it's even in the EULA anymore last time I checked, fifth badspot wouldn't take your model and write a new script for it and finally he asks before he does it.

This is a myth.

He didn't release it to the public. It was on his mediafire without a password so he could share it with people who needed a turret when there are no others made before.

Wow, you're one handicapped goat.

First, what the definition of public? Let's see:

Quote
public (comparative more public, superlative most public)

   1. Pertaining to the affairs or official affairs of all people, not just those of a private group; contrasted with private.
   2. Open to all.
   3. Funded by the government.
   4. (of a company) Traded publicly via a stock market.

His mediafire account wasn't even passworded, sharing without a password. Therefore, it is open to all. If you are still going to disagree about this, your brain must have a tumor.

Silly richard, I'm not ignorant to know that people needed a turret. You're silly arguments fail.
What do you think is the reason I made the add-on?  :cookieMonster:

Also, I'm having a discussion with Mediafire administrators. Should I use a CC license? I think it'll be quite valid.

Ok now you're really going overboard with this. I would be surprised if they even replied to your emails, unless you used some sensationalist "USER HAS STOLEN COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL I REQUEST IT BE REMOVED BEFORE I CALL MY LAWYER" message.

They actually replied. They are asking some copyrights that I can provide.

Hello,

I'm *********** from game called Blockland.

There seems to be a problem.

I have been coding game mods that were supposed to be released in the public, but they were apparently stolen by some user named "Amade" and is releasing some of my unauthorized files in your website.

The releases are incomplete and without permission. It is my due right as the original author to request for this file to be removed from your website.

The said release deeply offended me, and I'm trusting you that you do the appropriate actions to stop it.

If you need more information you can contact me again.

Once again, the file is: **************

Regards,
***********

I removed some phrases which included links and my real name

The email is probably a canned response.

In order to show that you are actually the copyright holder you would need to register it. Have fun registering your copyright, it's $50, uses a mail in form and will take a few days. The online registration ($35) won't work because it's a 3d model, probably in .blend or .3ds or something format.

Can't you just be content everyone here knows he stole it and leave it? It's excessive to drag it out as far as trying to get the stuff taken down from mediafire.

Meh... I'll just ignore it.

I'll continue to work on the add-on, even if a handful of people already have the incompetent version.
