Author Topic: Amade: It's your fault that your stuff gets stolen  (Read 28281 times)

You're still a loving ass for not providing a valid reason for it being released in the public. You loving starfish will never give a valid reason since it is intentional trolling.
I'm pretty sure I've already said this before but just in case I'll reiterate.

I saw the machine gun on Sue's and I really liked it. I asked for a copy and she replied that it was private. Wizzeh and Spock really liked it too, and so I decided to rescript the model so that we (the Craftsmen) could use it. While using it in a public deathmatch on Chefkokkie's server, people repeatedly asked where they could get a copy of the turret. I obliged and uploaded a copy to my mediafire account and provided them with links. I saw absolutely no reason to password or hide the file from the public. Everyone that downloaded it loved it. If I were you I would take all of this as a compliment.

You had a habit of acting incredibly immature on craftsmen and your own servers.

Examples:

When I was still interested in joining Craftsmen, I tried getting some info about it from you, but you wouldn't quit acting stupid. When I tried to tell you what I would app with, you called them crap and low quality, when honestly they were well suitable for an eventing application.
Quote me on that. And if I called your app crap or low quality it's probably because it was. If you're going to hate me because I don't like your app then do so but that's no reason to go around spewing stuff in a drama thread.

My message:

I removed some phrases which included links and my real name

Their reply:
I'm not too sure if you're sure what you believe the definition of "copyrighted" to be but generally you can't claim that a work is copyrighted after you've released it. Mediafire is almost definitely not going to take any action here.

Holy stuff i just had a dream i was using this and it fired rockets.

Amade, I don't see how you justify your hypocrisy with complaining about the spell pack leak.

Someone in your clan had keylogged a handful of you via your Skype conversation. (Note: This was after I was kicked, so I didn't play a role in it.) That's how Jimmg & Zoneark got ahold of the spell pack and why Spock's original account was hijacked. I don't know if further measures were taken; those two events were all I could see from the forum's perspective.

It was completely fine.

You obviously saw it somewhere on the rtb forums, and didn't even bother to download it...

But you remember thinking it was probably stuff and you judged me on that.

Copyrights are useless in this situation and if anything I'd be more inclined to steal someone's stuff just to demonstrate how they can do nothing to stop me.

i extremely hate people who do that.

stealing is wrong, or so i've been taught.

It was. From its description I could tell that there was no eventing required that shows the skill level necessary of Craftsmen members.

You could've shared it with a loving password. Of your actions are just based on "oh i want my fellow craftsmen to use it too", then you should've put a loving simple password, just for your clan. I still find you being a stupid handicapped starfish for not making a private thing kept private. Providing people with links is not a good excuse, whether you put it in any other way. What you did is a complete richardery and you deserve to be stabbed for not admitting your stupidity.

Get over it, if you are going to release a full version then why wouldn't others download the updated one? Jeeze...

Amade still needs to admit he's wrong.

and when that happens, I'll be happy to end the discussion.

He is still persistent to his ignorance.

Your persistent rage-filled and hasty arguments are leading me to believe that you're too pissed off to read anything I'm posting correctly. Allow me to emphasize a few key point.

Additionally I have for the past couple of months felt very strongly against the practice of holding private add-ons over people's heads. I think if someone wants a simple add-on that cost its creators nothing but spare time that they should have it and they should have fun with it. I completely fail to see why this idea makes me stupid, a richard, or deserving of being stabbed. Why you feel that you should keep my scripting of the turret restricted to a small group is absolutely beyond me. It brings no harm to you and in no way I can tell impedes the development of your "finished" copy of the turret. I suggest that instead of wasting your time attempting to bring a copyright claim or lawsuit against me you utilize your time to complete your turret so that I can fulfill my end of the bargain regarding the release of the finished copy of your turret.

Instead of blindly going off into a rage littered with strings of insults and profanity as you seem to be very used to doing, please take the time to read this post and reconsider my offer.

Did anyone else think "GreenBH" when they read that?

By the way, Amade, ceaselessly saying that Jaydee is "blind in his rage" isn't a good way to get anything accomplished.  I'm sure you know that; you just want to continue being a complete jerk.  Relating to your "reiteration" post, obviously Jaydee doesn't take this as a compliment.  Yeah, we get it, you *theoretically* would take this as a compliment if it happened to you (which I doubt), but Jaydee has proven via his posts that he does not.  This whole situation could have been de-escalated if you merely would've asked "Sue" something along the lines of "Hey, I like this turret a lot, do you know who made it?"  Instead, you stole Jaydee's work and scripted it. (Without thinking that Jaydee DOES have the add-on in RTB for a limited amount of people)

I'm not going to admit I'm wrong because I don't know what I'm supposedly wrong about. I have realized Jaydee isn't taking this as a compliment but he should realize that blowing the situation out of proportion and creating multiple threads about it is only helping to spread my scripting of the turret. Additionally, I don't see how packaging a publicly available model with a script is stealing; Jaydee was credited in the description.txt and the server.cs files. I did ask Sue who made the turret, hence him even having credit to begin with. I don't care if he has it privately on RTB, I despise the concept of "private" add-ons. Regardless of your opinion on the subject Jaydee does seem to be ignoring significant portions of my posts. I don't see how this situation makes me a "troll" or a "jerk", I was simply providing everyone with a much sought-after turret prior to its release (I was unaware that the turret was incomplete when I scripted it and put it on my mediafire).

-snip-

Amade, it would be a hell of a lot easier if you admit that you were wrong.
