Author Topic: Roblox - Blockland's Biggest Clone  (Read 39209 times)

Please don't start crap with other games. The less animosity between us, the better.

Seeing how the forum members here fight among each other now I doubt they will be stopped fighting with other forums.

By the way, This game is NOT worth downloading.

This may look nice, but less Blocky. We all love Blockland so there's no need to worry about this crud.
Besides, we'll be retail before them!

The good:
I love this game! Physics is just so fun to mess around with.

I thought the minifig was ugly and far worse than ours, but then found you can build on it. You can use people as the foundations of buildings if they are afk. Blowing up houses is so satisfying also.

The account creation system is fantastic. You enter name and password, then get your own account page with a friendslist and your home, which is a small map for you to build in. You can build in 1player mode for a lag free experience, or go multiplayer, which doesnt lag much at all.

You can build on cars, robots, people, join them together; do anything. I made a car with spinning arms that smashed people away. Controlling cars is simple, and you only need to stand on them, so racing is great (although they are slow). Graphics are nice and simple.

The building system is pretty cool, and easy to get used to. Theres a list of premade builds you can find in player solo mode, so a giant castle can be spawned around you if you want.

The bad:
Its a slow paced game. Weapons take ages to reload, and the best ones can be outran by you after you fire them, they just hover in the air.
Anyone can shoot a critical support you made in your build, collapsing the whole thing, which gets annoying after a while.

Not many people play. 6 in total online on all servers at a peak time.

If anyone does want to play, I found a fun glitch where you attach bricks to your feet and shoulder and it lets you jetpack.

lets rip so of the pro's right out under their feet!

I can't believe you actually figured out how to start the game.  Wow.  I go to Start>Blahblablah>Play Roblox, and it just gives me a browser window that they made.  The browser window does zip.

the only good thing: blowin shtz up and physics

BAD YUKI, BAD NO COOKIE FOR YOU!!!

The thing you downoad is some stupid browser, along with all the codez

Make an account on the site (which you muist have done to get download), then ignore the thing you just downloaded and use your usual browser to log on at the site. Then click "games" at the top, and select either the Roblox games or User Games. If you go to My Roblox you can change av and go to home area. If you want to test out some stuff go on solo mode (online is only for when you are done building)

I have sent friend requests to everyone I recognised from the blockland community, so we can all find each other.

If I missed you out go to http://www.roblox.com/User.aspx?ID=7936

You gotta click on play next to one of the pictures.

i wished blockland would have awesome physics like that :(

It looks like blockland with cooler physics but über-crappy presentation (I couldn't watch the damn video because of the annoyingly bad music) and bad graphics (but a pretty nice looking rendering engine).
