Ha, I remember MrMulch getting the addon from Amande when I was on the Cmen server.
EDIT: I know this may sound silly but maybe modelers and scripters need to use the Creative Commons License for their work. If they don't want it stolen that's fine but they need SOME type of a copyright.
A license and copyright are not the same thing. Everything you make is already copyrighted. A license sets up some conditions for other users to use your work so that they don't have to call you up and arrange for permission to mirror your mod every single time.
For example, if I recall the next rtb is licensed under a cc license that doesn't let you change the code and repackage it, among a few other things. So people don't need to ask, the answer is "no."
As for protecting your content on Blockland the only thing you can do is not let anyone see it. You could register it and take it to course if you really wanted to. Maybe if I showed a book I wrote to a publishing company and they printed it without my permission I would sue them. I could have made money off those books. But if someone steals pictures you drew or models you made that you did in your free time and shared with the public free of charge I wouldn't bother. Call them out on it and work with service owners (forum admins, moderators, file hosters, etc) to get it delisted. There isn't much else you can do or that would be worth doing.
Putting in automatic file deleters, etc and you're in trouble. As a mod maker you should be more responsible then to interfere with a users content without their permission and it's bullstuff like this that got the TBM crew in trouble. In their case content would just not load if it wasn't in the tbm folder. Locking content down like that just splits the community. If your mod is better people will use it anyway. Amade has offered to take his mod down, and while he is still a jackass for doing it in the first place you are still getting a better deal than most people who have their work stolen.
