Quit saying that.

Also, the aiming laser should be possible, but something like that is somewhat beyond my current skill level. :S

just saying this to make this topic survive out in this cruel cruel forum........ but.........
if it tips over doesent that technically make it a physics vehicle? meanin after its done you cant mod it with events? just trying to keep this topic going...

yes, it will be a "physics vehicle"

The problem with Physics vehicles and turrets is that you have to write a complicated code to enable aiming while playertype turrets (as they are now) are quite easy to do.

At least, far more easy then a physics vehicle turret.

I just played portal and portal:Prelude today.I want this now.

It will be a bot mounted to a vehicle that would only be a bounding box and a mount point.

Wouldn't that still have the aiming problem that most of the bots have when mounted to a vehicle?

And add the actual sounds and a rtb pref to disable the turrets talking.

Bump, JK I wanna keep this topic alive and well

This sounds like a very good idea. I'd like a Tourette to beat up and tip over.
