downloading save issues

I'm trying to download a save from the gallery and it shows up as a .bls.txt it refuses to show up in my loads and if i change its name (via hitting enter and deleting the .txt) nothing happens i use a mac if thats relevant what should i do? it is in the correct place, saves > slate > the save file

Open it, hit Save As, save it as all files, then delete the .txt at the end of it.

what do you mean? it opens into textedit

Yes, then click file, save as, and at the bottom of the save thing, instead of save as .txt, make it save as all files. Then delete the .txt at the end of it but keep the .bls part.

ok that failed miserably... when i clicked the save as it automatically "deleted" the .txt but otherwise nothing whatsoever happened.
