I'd say Splinter Cell because it has a good story and good gameplay.

SC storyline kinda went downhill after the second one.

Also, if you're planning on getting Battlefield 2 you should know that it's mainly Xbox live.

splinter cell was good but harder than steel. those 'stay undetected' missions were nearly impossible for me.
