Port Forward Problem

How do I Port Foward without having to go through 192.168.1.1 to get there? My mom is a computer freak, and she changed the defaults. She has said that port fowarding is not a good idea. :/

I don't know how to say this without being rude, so I'm just going to be rude.  Your dad mom shovels coal for a living and I am a goddamn professional computer programmer.  I know more about this subject than your dad mom.  Port forwarding, if done correctly, is completely safe.

Start -> run -> cmd
Then type "ipconfig". The "default gateway" should be the IP address of your router's web page.

I know how to get to the default gateway. My mother is a computer programmar, and has set up a tight security to prevent me from accessing anything.
