Its because the newbies or horrible hosts are little kids and think they run the place by themselves (which isn't always entirely true). They don't want any backtalk and just do their stuff rather horrible controlling their builds that are stolen or horrible. When someone sees an error, the host bans the person to shut them up, making more people banned from his banning spree or from the host's stupidity.
