Strangely enough something very similar to this happened to me, except she first claimed she was in 9th grade too so I thought it was ok then one day she admitted to me that she was in 8th and I was starting to get kinda blah about it then randomly I found out in passing that she was infact in 7th....
...oh and btw, she was insane...

Younger girls always seem to be.

Something similar happened to me over the course of like 6 months, on and off. So many mind games... and she still expected me to trust her after all of it. I finally told her off once and for all when she told me she loved me, which was a few weeks ago.

Just play it cool. And if you really like this girl and aren't good with telling her, do what I did! I told my friend I liked this girl, then he told her (Even tho I told him not to), and now 8, almost 9 months later I'm still dating her. woot.

This is a good plan, but sometimes you can "pretend" you didn't want him to tell her, and then he does, then there isn't actually much embarrasement.

It all depends on whether you have the guts to ask her out on a date. Advice if you do ask her, don't talk about love unless she starts about it, and even then, don't be too wild.
