Yes but what's the point? It's mostly going to be zombie and TDM games. Why add all that code, and all those textures for something that wouldn't do anything but be annoying?
Well if you are under water a long time the weapon get rusted, and its called REALISM,Think realistic.
The slowed down bullets in water sound quite nice though to get into this discussion. No rust, but yes slower and perhaps less damage bullets.Torque has something in it's state system to ensure we could do things like this, and of course you can state other things in other parts of the code that are specific for when they are underwater. For example look in the Torque functions guide at the Projectile section and you'll see you can give some special things to do when underwater.
There's still no point in doing it at all. If the weapons were personal, hard to find, and had to be maintained with repairs, cleaning, and all that. Then the whole water thing would be fine. But here in Blockland, as soon as someones gun touches water they will just CTRL+K so they spawn with a new one. Or just run back to where they spawned it themselves and trade it. It won't benefit the game in any way to add THAT much realism into one detail when so many other details aren't even touched on.
Blahblah, the topic dies when I lock it, and I will lock it when I release the pack. And no rust or things like that. Too much work and too much realism.Maybe I will take a break from working for a week... at the moment I could cry...
Heyheyhey, what's up?
Relationship... blahblah, problems... big problems...forget...
I think that we need both blocko weapons and realistic weapons.
This
I just say the COD 7 trailer, and you should make an explosive crossbow!!
You really need a sit down and a cup of tea.
