Some suggestions if you're not planning on implementing them already.
- Player slowed while aiming down sights.
-Zoom only when using sights (You're probably already adding this.)
-Can't crouch and jump at the same time.
-Animation for taking out the gun. (Just taking it out and pulling back the bolt/slide or even just taking it out and that's it.)
-FIX SHOULDER THING :P

oh god i just have to throw it out im jittering with excitement i just downloaded the afghan map :D
but you need to texture the buildings :c

That would require a playtype change sorta thing, and I don't think Grav wants that.
And also, the mount-2-back and taking out animation are a must.

- Why slowing down? There is no difference if you move faster or slower. When you move, the accuracy decereases. It doesn't decerease depending on the players speed. And again: Nothing that requires a new playertype!
- Zoom enabled or disabled. It will stay how it is. I just have to fix it.

- No. You want to see the animation everytime you stop using the sights? And no, I will NOT put any effort in trying that. And I thought you know everytime you pull back the bolt/slide you eject one round? That would mean everytime you select a weapon it would (theoretically) remove one round? And no when putting the gun away/dropping it the round in the chamber goes NOT magically back into the magazine.
- I might do that when recoloring the weapons. Or do you want handicapped ultra-short stocks?

They are textured. Just couldn't figure out yet how to make it look the way I want it to...


Idea.  Breach Bomb?   Stickable to bricks/doors. Will explode and make bricks/doors/ect, blow into bits. Also makes player turn inside.

1-Ironsights increase gun accuracy right? If it does you should move slower to retain that accuracy, if not then ironsights are completely useless.

3-No reason to be a richard about it, could have just said "I'll try." I'm pretty sure there's a mod somewhere that puts a delay between crouching and jumping, you could refer to that for ideas.

1) It will stay the way it is.
2) There is a RTB preference. It disables the standard zoom function.
3) I just said how it is. And I don't want to think about a way how I could do that. And what about this: You can get into a building only trough a window. The problem: You can't crouch while jumping. Just a little example. And no, the window is not high enough to walk trough.
4) It will because that is how the state system works. When I fixed all bugs with the states I might think about how to let the animation only appear when you select the weapon.
Also hurrdurr.
Random assault rifle, let's take the M4. Full magazine. One round in the chamber. That makes 31 rounds.
Now you pull back the bolt, and let it go. It returns to the initial position.
Moving it backwards ejects the round that is currently inside the barrel.
Moving it forward inserts the next round from the magazine into the barrel.
When you fire the rifle the same happens.
Now do that 31 times and try to fire.

I never said anything about the assault rifles, I was talking about pistols and the bolt action rifles, the rest could just have the gun being taken out.

The system is not much different on pistols/etc.

Moving the bolt/slide/whatever backwards ejects the shell/round.
Moving the bolt/slide/whatever forward inserts a new round.

The animation would just play when the player picks it up then, problem solved.
How do ironsights function right now? Do they pretty much just obstruct your screen?
