LOL thats called backfaces not a texture problem. ctrl f to flip them when selecting them in edit mode.

Flip those faces that are transparent.
Also, you might want to smoothshade the sides of the rocket so it doesn't look so segmented, increase the size of the scope, and thats about it.
I don't know how to do either of those, but the scope is accurately sized to the launcher. (btw I'm using Blander 2.49b because I'm not familiar with 2.5)

Scratch that I figured out how to flip.

So how do I get the texture to show in Blender render?

Select all vertices, CTRL + N, then click "Recalculate normals outside". That should turn most if not all normals into the right direction. But you still should check your whole model. Under "Editing (F9)" you can enable "Draw Normals" (NSize is the length of the blue lines). To turn a normal simply select the face(s), press W and click "Flip Normals".

I stink at whatever modelling program I'm using, but how do you make sure that all of the different pieces go together in a correct geometric fashion?
Say you have a 7 barreled revolver, just to prove my point way too much. How do you make sure that all of the barrels are equidistant to the center?

Simply duplicate and rotate. And Blender allows you to do basically everything (Rotating, moving, scaling, etc.) in steps so you can get "correct geometric fashion".

I want to give the R870 Dragons Breath and color it blue and pink :)

"Time for you to burn... IN HELL YOU forgetER!!!"

Do it Gravity!

It's nice that you're planning other things etc but is it not about time that you started doing things that are still yet to be made ? :/

Recoloring is a matter of minutes and I can change the ammunition of all weapons ingame.

So... yeah.

What about re-modeling the R870, the SKS and the Ares Shrike ?

Also a matter of minutes. Just more than only a couple of minutes :P

Huh, I'll try that.
Thanks.

You are using Blender? I guess so. You also should try "Spin" and "Spin Duplication" under Mesh Tools (Editing, F9). It's faster than doing it by yourself.
