Author Topic: Gravity Cat's Add-On Dump - Particle_ItemSparkles released!  (Read 2256875 times)

I feel stupid asking this, but when you shoot the gas canister does it light?

I mean, if it does, :D

If it doesn't, wouldn't it be more realistic if it lighted? or is my mind just filled with Left 4 Dead "realism"
Why would a gas canister have a light?

I'd prefer it if you shot a player who was carrying the gas tank, they went up in flames :3

Why would a gas canister have a light?

He means ignite.

AKA: Canister goes boom

Everyone is going to abandon T+T2's after this is released...

Nope, there will be a massive three way argument between Gravitys, T+T and Blockombat.

What colorset is the server running?
Extended colorset. Don't ask me who made it but it's on RTB.

A racercar's force=being hit by a bullet.
Hnnng. What?

Racecar: 500 kg * 60 ms/s = 30.000 N
Bullet: 0.005 kg * 800 m/s = 4 N

When a racecar hits you with roughly 200 km/h it has like, enough force to break all your bones a couple of times or something. A bullet with 2800 km/h or something has probably not even enough force to knock you off your feet. But not even the whole 4 Newton will be applied to your body since the bullet will pierce trough. The racecar won't.

Everyone who is good in physics correct me if necessary, I sucked :)

I haven't done anything with physics yet, so I lose this time.
And could we please get an organized build on the server?

Only about two people get it. The force of a racecar smashed into a tiny object. Not a bullet the size of a racecar or whatever.

Initially you were talking about riot shields and that you doubt that they could withstand bullets. Riot shields, as the name implies, are made to protect policemen from stones, bottles and other stuff that might fly trough the air in a riot. They're not supposed to withstand bullets. But still. What you say is wrong. Except you don't mean it literally.

So after using my beloved calculator, I have established that a racecar, lets just say it's a stock car, travelling at 60m/s or whatever Grvliploloolpoop said the speed was, would exert about 248Pa of pressure. Where as a, lets say, 5mm  exerts maybe 65kPa of pressure. That doesn't help ANYONE who doesn't know metric ;) besides, It's probably WAYYYY off.

Pascal? Ugh. I prefer Newton :) Also, what did you calculate exactly? Because to me it does sound like it's way off :P

Oh and thanks again for helping.

GC, post more pictures of stuff. I barely read posts, I just click 'new' and look if there's any pictures
