Silly Riot, I'm not saying plasma is not real but thats science fiction.
We are no where near to getting around the planet in 8 minutes unless you are in space.

I know that plasma is real, and they are probably developing a weapon like that.

It's going to take a long time before we can harness plasma as easily as steam oil or electricity and solar energy.

Speed of an average space shuttle = 4973 KM/h
So even in space, it would take just under 9 hours to orbit the earth.

8 minutes is a hell of a short time.

ONTOPIC: I lol'ed in a kinda evil way that all transport systems seem to be doomed because of air travel being grounded.
