Author Topic: How much homework do you get?  (Read 4032 times)

45min - 1hour of work (depends on who you would ask in my class. others have between two and three hours).

Oh, a misunderstanding, k.

Truce.

I have enrolled in a public school before when my parents went on a long trip.
I was enrolled in a private school from kindergarten-1st grade
then i went to public school for grades 2nd-5th.
I learned nothing from public school, other than what condoms were used for.

shhhh
you're not helping the cause >:|

Wrong, public schoolers are intelligent and they do teach things there.

In public school you also have to open your book, you can't expect someone doing everything for you.

i was enrolled in private school in kindergarten......i learned nothing other than

sit on that hard ass cot and close your eyes during nappy time....or the teacher will go ****ing bezerk

Homeschoolers do everything practically themselves, unless mommy is teaching them.  :cookieMonster:

you went to the wrong loving private school
I learned how to tell time, count by 2's add and subtract, sound out words, and count past 100.

this
I have to take a test at a mall in 2 weeks.
and i have to send in a package of work i did.

If im lucky, one period the teachers cant be botherd to give us homework.
Most the time however, we get homework every period. Thats 6 homework pieces a day.
It takes around 4 hours to finish.

Max 5 pieces taking at least 30 minutes each per day.

Usually, I get about 8-9 bits of h/w per week, and do it at the weekend, taking about 5 hours to finish...

What is the point of home school?
If you aren't handicapped and can walk, you should go to normal school like everyone else does.
Everyone else? Who's everyone else? A lot of children are homeschooled. And the kids who are in public school aren't "everyone else". There can be more messed up kids in public school then there are in a homeschooling situation.

Must suck to be so slow at homework all of you, I used to do 2 month projects in 1-2 hours the day before and get an A or at least a C. I did my research paper comparing 2 books I never read in 15 minutes and it was an 8 page essay, got a B+ on it. When I was in 5th grade we had this weird teacher that lets you do any assignment at any time and she will grade it for you and give you points no matter how old it was, I did the homework for the entire year in about 5-6 hours the day before school ended and went from an F to an A+.

oh god the stress of the last month of school in public schools
its like people have declared open season on me
and the teachers in public school hardly do stuff and let the friends tell THIER SIDE OF THE STORY and they make up ridiculous crap that teachers belive and you get detention
