Alrighty. Yes, it IS indeed another hosting problem.

I recently moved, and now I am not able to host. I have port forwarded. I am working thru those apple network extenders with a 2wire 2701HGV-B router. Its not working. Halp?

If its any help, I keep getting the 'no response from: [ip address]: 28000

No goddam edit.

Anyways, I started a dedi server and it showed up on my server list as not dead. However, there was no ping, and when I tried to connect, I got eternal punch packets.

Connect to your own dedicated through 'Query LAN' instead of 'Query Internet' as it is in the same household as you. Everyone else can join through 'Query Internet'.

As for the moving, make sure UPnP is enabled in your router page.

The problem is, others cannot join it through internet!

As for UPnP... How?

It will be on your router page, same site you port forward from.

It doesn't say anything about UPnP :c

Okay.

I tried opening the firewall to all applications w/ 'DMZplus' mode or something.

Still no luck :c

Have a look around the whole router site, it may be buried. I have no DNS settings in mine, they are buried under DCHP.

Still can't find it. However, I'd imagine that it is UPnP capable considering that its very new.

Either way, do I even need UPnP if I port forward?

No, UPnP if you don't port forward, if you port forward you don't need UPnP.

You can also DMZ(UDP or both) to your computer's IP.

I had the same problem, and fixed it. What you need to do is access your modem and port forward there.

Your modem isn't a firewall you idiot, you can't portforward it.
