I find it hard to grasp a coding language's syntax effectively. It's hard just to understand how things work. I'd like to try, but I need some form of explanation on how to understand it.

What don't you understand? Many of the concepts are pretty trivial if you study them for a bit.

I probably haven't given the proper attention and thought into it, and maybe I was starting a bit rough. I'll try to work on stuff like that when school starts to let out.

I agree, syntax is hard to grasp at first. Studying never really worked for me, I find it easier to look at examples of it and to start by just modifying them.
