Author Topic: How do people make alts when they are banned?  (Read 1100 times)

Because as far as I know, when you are banned even when logged out.

When people make alternate accounts they really aren't doing anything to their name, they just create a whole other account and hope for the best. Sometimes Badspot can check the IP Address though, so people do it at a friends house, or modify their router settings temporarily.

... or some people have dymanic ip's

They use a proxy, which essentially hides your IP address and replaces it with the one of the proxy server.

Sounds like someone's putting together a contingency plan.

Friends computer, or proxy, or make it before they are banned.

I call shenanigans.

Well, my ban seemed to have been removed. And when I did make an account, I made sure to put as similar information to my original as possible. Email is identical, name is identical, etc. And Badspot approved it. I've also been keeping out of trouble, no one seems to be taking full distress to me as of yet.

But I assume I'll get banned soon, if not for this post, anyway. Whatever, just mentioning.

Just for a forum ban? x_x
It's not that hard, is it?

Just a few key taps in a cmd shell.

Lololol....you have to contact your ISP...

Edit: Well, it depends on whether you have a static of dynamic IP, though most people have static.
