I like both Trek and Wars, jsut Trek more because I'm a cerebral guy, not too much of a "oooh lazurs r sploin makuh me hapeh!" kinda deal, but Ep III was cool in that regard. As for episode 1. It was just a remake of IV with a Ben Hur chariot race added in. Episode II, same as V, only more splosions and not on a frosty world. Oh and no Luke Leia Wincest thing either.
I hope that if Lucas does end up going for the final trilogy that he at least attempts to make something unique and worthy of my attention. Eps 1-3 didn't really do that.
As for Trek, you people complained when it was slow and dull now you complain that it's too action packed...you people are exactly what ruins franchises. No matter what people do to please you, you'll always find something to whine and bitch about because you think you obviously could do better. No one is paying you to be a critic, so quit acting like you're Gene Siskel or Roger Ebert.
