Author Topic: Is it okay to share my Key with my brother?  (Read 1907 times)

He really REALLY loves blockland, but he cannot buy it so I let him play on my account. The problem is? He plays...and plays...and...plays...I like my computer and I like playing on it myself so, I would like to give him my key so he can play it on my computer when I'm not.

And don't worry, he is trustworthy.

as long as he is on your ip, and he doesn't share it with others, it is fine.

i think you pretty much buy a key for a household, not necessarily 1 person.

I don't understand.

It's ok, but why can't he buy his own key?

Where does a 11-year-old find an instant twenty dollars when it's not close to his birthday, nobody in my neighborhood wants their lawn mowed?

Sell some old games to friends and stuff.
Any old PS2/xbox games or even Xbox360/PS3 games you have that you no longer play and are in reasonable condition?
You should just sell them for $5 and up.

badspot never gives clear answers (or at all) to these kinds of topics.
because technically your supposed to have a key per person, no trading, no sharing.

but its like the unofficial, unenforced non rule that shouldn't be asked about.
you dont forget up and cause IP and user drama, and it wont come up.

If you're using the same computer, just use the same Blockland and he won't need to know your key.

If you don't want your brother playing on your account, delete the key.dat.

This will make it so you would have to re-enter your code to play again.

OR just move it to a new folder

You're missing the point, which is that he DOES want to share it with his brother.

Yes, I do.
