So many people have done it or know people that have. So discuss, such as favorite apps, what
you used. Think it's worth it?

Isnt jailbreakign illegal?

If so, isnt it against the rules to post it?

i dont understand this jail breaking stuff. you cant use apps unless you hack it?
just get a better phone that can do what you need. why waste time playing with stuff.

Jailbreaking allows third party apps not available at the app store, although jail breaking voids your warranty, and has more bad then good.

what apps are people needing so badly that they need to hack the whole thing?
or is it just that script kiddy, hacker status that idiots want. when it dont do anything that useful.

I only have a computer, an ipod from 2006, and an xbox.  I seriously don't get other kind of technology like iPhones and stuff.  Waste of money.

It's not illegal, apple likes to make you think it is. The main things it is used for is more customization, freedom breaking from the grasps of apple (hense the name) and some people do it for free apps.

It lags your phone terribly.

And it makes it look like stuff.
The only apps  that might be worth it is the mario one. Theres more bad than good. You're just too lazy to pay for stuff.

that would be the illegal part
True, and that's not why I would jailbreak it.

Another thing, Apple also has a patch in their automatic updates which will deactivate or seriously mess up your iPhone if it detects anything not published or approved by Apple.

Yeah when you connect to iTunes, besides if you connect to iTunes when jailbroken it bricks it anyways.

Yeah, you can't update your phone if you jailbreak it... a huge down.

Then why the hell would you do it?

Jailbreak? Because of the small benifits you get with it.

What is jailbreaking and how do you do it?
