Home schooling: Do you think it's a good idea?

About a week ago I started getting home schooled. I want to know everyone's opinion on home schooling and if it's a good idea or not. I think it is, I am learning a hell of a lot better then regular school.


I have had dislexia for awhile and the principal put me in the special class thinking I'm stupid, meaning I didn't get proper education.

Whereas in home schooling my mom teaches me better since she actually cares about my education and is patient enough for my pace of learning...So..discuss!

well as far as mom schooling goes


thats the worst loving "school" there is.
I and most other homeschoolers here do online school.
which allows me to be online at all hours, plus, I can play games in between lessons.

passing the standardized tests might be good enough to move on to high school, but not good enough to be considered educated.
you are assuming your mom knows enough to prepare you for high school. you dont know that. your mom dont even know that and she cant guarantee it.

I was born with dislexia. It's just it got worse when I started in with 6th grade.
