Author Topic: Why do people have girls as pictures and male as their gender lol  (Read 3088 times)

on some rpg's i play a chick. like dragon age or oblivion.
How about age of time?

I'm male but my gender says female and my avatar is a male (probably)

How about age of time?
Bisjac is so cool he plays as a guy on age of time

Magick is a woman :D
(LLOLOLOLOTROL)

<- I have no idea what gender THAT thing is but I'm male...

wait...

if i put a snake as my avatar, would you guys assume that;

A - I want snake
or
B - I have snake

same reason on some rpg's i play a chick. like dragon age or oblivion.
i could spend 100 hours staring at a guy's ass and looking at what armour makes his chest look best.... or...
i tried being a female battle mage breton in oblivion with heavy armor

worst loving choice in my entire life

People have females as their avatars because they like looking at women.

This.

Most of the time in RPGs I pick a female character because I'd much rather be looking at a girl's back.  Just like anything else, your "avatar" is never an avatar per se, it's who you want to be looking at the entire time your playing.  Only people who want to really get into roleplaying are going to model their avatar after themselves.

It's the same reasoning for having a female scout skin in TF2, and even more so because 90% of the other players aren't going to see you as the female scout, so it's only for your own benefit.
