Action Figures (again)

Well, first thing's first, what joints are you using, along with what material?

I'm making a a clay blockhead action figure if that is relevant to anything.

First off, I'm inexperienced, I'm making bluprints and writing out plans, I have not started to make it yet.
It's going to be clay though.

Madmitten, there's no generic clay to refer to, so I'm asking what brand he's using.

Castilene if you're willing to make molds, or Super Sculpey (what I use)
