If I tried to go to Facebook at my school, I get a "Barracuda Web Filter" page sayin that it is blocked because of "Social Networking"

Try this:

Go to http://www.facebook.com .

Click on the address bar, put the cursor after the p in http, and put an s there. Hit enter. Good chance it'll go through. Don't blame me if you get caught and punished though.

Lol, I can use Facebook on my iPod Touch with my Opera Mobile Mini App because it somehow mysteriously bypasses my school's block filter.

1)Go to the Facebook site like you normally would.
2)When the block screen comes up, look in the address bar to see if it still has "www.facebook.com" on it. If so, continue to step 3.
3)Type the letter "s" in front of "http" so it comes out like "https".
4) It should work. You'll have to type "s" infront of "http" everytime you want to access a different part of Facebook.

Okay, face it. If Facebook was unblocked at schools nobody would get any work done. It's a total distraction for me when I have it even open.

Hell I'm so used to being distracted that when I'm at school typing something I'll just out of habit open up the web browser and almost type in either fac(ebook) or fo(rum.blockland.us) to procrastinate, parentheses being chrome history searches.
