ENIAC was one of the first electronic computers. It was developed at the University of Philadelphia for the US military in 1946 and used to run calculations for the atomic bomb, artillery, weather, and some other random stuff. Several of it's panels are housed in the School of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Pennsylvania, which I walked past once but didn't go in because I had other stuff to do unfortunately.
