With your builds, not mine, although I took to your idea for trenches with an axe and chopped it up and put it back together differently, I made small valleys :)

I take to heart rky's advice more than yours though :)

Do you have gamemode zombie?

If so enable friendly fire when its off it keeps people from killing one other.
