Yes, and plus any virus/pathogen that destroys your nervous system can kill you.

Also, zombies are impossible since they will inevitably lose a great amount of blood, and thus die.

1) I would surround myself with roofs that are close together, in other words I would live on rooftops. Barricade the first floors and stairs leading upwards and construct bridges leading to other roofs. I would create my own apocalyptic armor from vests and Kevlar added with thin plates of light but dense steel and a gas mask with a Riot helmet .

2) Find people that are able to help me. I'm not going to look for women and children, I'm more into creating a frontier for defense. Scavenge for old military remains and recruit people. Create light Kevlar armor reinforced with steel plates for protection from zombie bites and other things like pirates.

3) Spread the word of our military colony so people would come and join.

1.) Find wooden supplies+power tools to block up entryways/windows.
2.) Grab some food, and drinks.
3.) Finds some weapons.
4.) Call the military.
5.) Get killed by the military.
