Go into someone's server, hit F2. If it doesn't show anything for your BL_ID, you have to enable it:
Options -> Advanced -> bottom of GUI options

Why do people assume people have money to simply throw away, some some people it is not easy to get a second key, some people are not middle classed and have this game. For me, I would say I'm around middle class income wise, however I still have one key to share, why? Because my parents don't spend money on EVERYTHING their kids want and don't have twenty bucks to waste on a copy of the same game they already bought, not to mention I don't have an allowance and don't need one right now.
