Author Topic: Someones building me a new computer, what parts should I tell him to use?  (Read 2960 times)

Im A company nearby in my town builds computers. They also build gaming computers. Which are the best motherboards, powerboxes, ram cards, Graphics cards, harddrives, and so on.

I'm definately getting:
1 or more Nvidia GTX 480 1.5 GB graphics card

Any Ideas?

I made a computer off ibuypower. Final price was $2,379

Anything I should change from this?

You should tell him to use the best parts.

Tell them to add a toaster, a built in cat and some more cowbell too!

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

You should tell him to use the best parts.

I haven't really tried that O_O.

Updated OP, go check it out.

What's your budget?

Remember that computers outdate themselves fast.

Get the most expensive and awesome parts you can find. Then you're computer will be good for 2 years.

It also appears that you took consideration of the parts used. This leads me to believe that you just chose the most expensive parts and assumed that it would be good.

DOUBLEPOAST

My budgets about 3500

To be honest. I would like to own a old computer like Windows 95 just for the heck of it.
(Do want that computer)

Lucky you get Dirt2 and MW2 free. I got dirt 2 for the 75% off. And MW2 when it was like 25 or 50% off.

Syntho, From that, it seems you have customized your own computer, and those were offers.

You should probably know what parts are good, and what parts are bad, from that pic on OP, what would you change?

Get more ram.

DOUBLEPOAST, again.

Im buying RAM outside, the RAM that was offered is very expensive
