Here's a simple way of looking at it:
The bible is false. The things it states are false, because of several basic contradictions, which disprove the concept of the god being "perfect." (see:

With that, if god isn't perfect, and you're only supposed to listen to this perfect god's teachings (which is a must-do according to the bible), then you're following paradox.
This is what it all leads into: if a story from the bible comes true, then it's coincidence, or it was just documented in the bible. Even more so, if we ever see a god, I can assure that, if the bible is true to christianity, then it will not be the christian god. However, if it is, then the bible is simpley false. It is impossible; you cannot have a certain amount of something greater than that of which is smaller.
