Me needs a TV.

Today I brought a TV from about 1993 into my room so I could play Monster Hunter Tri on it. Besides making it awfully hard to read text, it emits a slight buzzing noise when it is on. So, I've decided to invest in a good TV. My budget is <300, and I want some sort of flat screen TV under 28 inches. Does anyone know of any nice ones? Plasma and LED are prefered.

Lol TV, I'd go for a Monitor if I were you. However you'd need proper cables.

What? Why would you buy a monitor to plug a cable box and console games into? That would look awful. Nothing would be the correct res for your screen and the quality would be next to stuff.

Quite the opposite, my friend bought a 23" LED monitor for his Ps3 and hooked it up through HDMI cables.
Looks loving amazing. It makes my Tv look like utter stuff.

You're not going to get a flat screen with that budget, no matter the size. The Wii isn't even HD, so why not just get a standard definition TV?

You can make the Wii HD. And, plasma and LED are better than LCD. And on top of that, I've seen very many flat screens with that budget.

I don't believe you. Monitors run in different resolutions than TVs.

I love the PS3 and all its games.

Only console systems I like are the classic ones and PS2. (ATARI, NES, SNES, N64, PSX/1, PS2)

Also, the ps3 has no games. I mean that as literally as can be. I do not like 99.999999999999999999% of the games the PS3 offers.
