Its been my dream to serve my country and i was thinking about joining the Army when i turn 18, is the age 18?

i think its 17 with parental permission? maybe not even.

The age for joining the Army in the UK is 16 and a half. But they don't go into any campaigns until they turn 18.

Serving as going to war or just sleeping in a base?

Going to war I actually want to serve my country i don't care if i get blown to bits by shrapnel from a grenade.

I rather die actually providing something for the U.S then when i grow up and not have any career or job that the U.S will benefit from. Besides i'm only three years away from turning 18. I think i have to go through military training for a few years first before i can serve in any wars though.

I bet you will when you need a wheelchair for rest of your life. Besides, these wars are pointless and you will be fighting for nothing.

Think about all the innocent muslims that die in Iraq and Afghanistan its not fair that they were born into a country destroyed by war.

The point of war is not to die for your country, It's to make the other guy die for his.
