So our principal came in the other day and talked about Facebook, lovetexting, and taking photos of someone without permission. Apparently someone made a page that said "Beat this kid up" with a picture of the kid. A parent found out, told the principal, and now we have a big discussion. I had something like this with a teacher, but immediately took it down. Well now they think the only way to resolve this is to watch us 24/7 on Facebook now. The reasoning? "Facebook is a public domain, we aren't invading privacy, we are only trying to keep our students safe." She found out everyone who has a Facebook in our school and tells the teacher to keep an eye on our Facebook. I am pissed off. Hopefully increasing my privacy settings made sure they can't see my stuff.
Discuss.
EDIT: I'm hoping they won't track my IP and find this post, oh wait...
