The air conditioning of texas.

Pretty much nobody outside of texas knows about these, but really, they're huge Cooling structures, and they cool your house.

But the problem with these is that it makes your house so forgetign humid that it is unbearable, and when you turn it on, i feel cool at first, until the coolers water pumps kick in and start making your house not only hot, but hot and humid.

Discuss Swamp coolers

 Sounds like a bad plan, blow them up and rebuild them in your own image.

I feel its better thnan central air and heating, because once it finally does get cool, it gets freezing because of the humidity.

1. It would grind on the fibres, i had to clean the fan

2. The apartment wouldnt cool down

3. I called my landlord, he said he would send someone in a week, and then i just told him i would take care of it, because that week was around the 90's and i couldnt afford an air conditioner at the moment.

And now, back on topic, my apartment is finally starting to cool down, and it is so humid, it feels like im sweating ;-;

I had one when I lived in New Mexico.
It was annoying having to go on the roof to set it up every summer then be sure to cover and disconnect it every winter.
