Author Topic: MilkShape is a virus?  (Read 2241 times)

Everytime I try to download MilkShape, Norman Antivirus says that it discovered a worm, and put it in quarantine. Why?
P.S. I download it here.

Wow, that was fast. Please stop quoting Norman Antivirus, I just want a solution.

Norman sounds like a nice guy that knows what he's doing. Just trust him.

No, he looks for worms in the shape of milk and isolates them away from you :c

1. Tell Norman it's over
2. Get AVG
3. Get Milkshaep
Seriously...

I bet Norman Antivirus is a virus.

Really, it probably is.

It's a false positive I've used milkshape with no issues, there should be an ignore option on Norton I would think.

Fixed.

Your Anti-Virus is probably budget and thinks everything is a virus if its not created on your PC. AN INSTALL FILE THATS NOT NORMAM APPROVE, I DO NOT APPROVE OF THIS.

Use Trojan Remover. Yes, such a straight-forward names sounds suspicious, but it actually is probably one of the top virus cleaning programs around.

I had a set of viruses, adware, etc. that disabled all normal anti-virus software. It even stopped lesser known things like HiJack This. Then I finally used Trojan Remover and not only was it able to actually OPEN, but it cleared out all the viruses and such like it was liquid on laminate.

You can use the trial.

Anyway, Milkshape isn't a virus, so if you don't want to take my advise, at least turn off that software when you install Milkshape.
